Xiaomi sold over 200,000 units of the Redmi K20 Pro in less than 2 hours

The Redmi K20 Pro is the first flagship smartphone from Xiaomi's sub brand Redmi. The phone was unveiled in Beijing less than a week ago with flagship specs and features, all at an affordable price, which is why it's called the flagship killer. Xiaomi just concluded the first flash sale for the K20 Pro and it was a massive success as Xiaomi was able to sell over 200,000 units in less than 2 hours.
According to an official bog post by Redmi on Weibo, over 200,000 units of the Redmi K20 pro was sold in just 1 hour and 45 minutes. The K20 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's most powerful Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. It is available in 4 different memory configurations which are 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.


The phone sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED notch-less display and runs on the latest MIUI 10 out of the box which is based on the Android 9 Pie. It has a triple rear facing camera setup with a primary 48MP sensor, 13MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto lens. In the front is a 20MP selfie camera which is hidden in the top mechanical pop-up to achieve a bezeless design.

The phone also has an in-display fingerprint reader and it packs a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm QC 4.0 quick charge technology and a 28W charger included in the box. The phone is expected to launch globally later this month and it may be renamed as Poco F2 in some markets/regions.
