Xiaomi just unveiled the Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 prime. Specifications and price

Xiaomi has just added three new members to their  redmi  series  and they are the Xiaomi redmi 4, redmi 4 prime and the redmi 4A. All three devices falls into the category  of Xiaomi's budget friendly  smartphones and will initially  be available  for sale  in China only.

Xiaomi Redmi 4  

The Xiaomi  redmi 4 features  a 5inch display with a resolution  of 720 x 1280 pixels.  It is powered by snapdragon 430 chipset with a quad core processor  which has a clock speed of 1.4GHz and Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of memory, it features a 2gb ram and 16gb internal  storage. A microSD card can also be used with the hybrid SIM tray. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage.

The device  has a 13mp rear  camera  and a 5mp front  facing camera.  It has a finger print  sensor which can be found  just below  the rear camera. It also has a 4100mah battery.

The device is currently available for pre-order in gold,  silver or dark  gray colour and will go on sale Monday, November 7th for $104. 

Xiaomi Redmi 4 prime 

The Xiaomi redmi 4 prime also features a 5inch display but with a larger resolution  of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Redmi 4 Prime is powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset with an octa-core 2.0GHz processor and Adreno 506 GPU. It also  has a larger  3gb ram and a 32gb internal storage. 

It has same camera and operating  system as the redmi 4. The device is currently available for pre-orders, and will go on sale Monday, November 7th for $133 USD.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A 

The Xiaomi  redmi 4A is actually  the lowest and the cheapest  of all three redmi 4 variants. It is powered by Snapdragon 425 chipset, with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 308 GPU. It has a 2gb ram  and a 16gb ROM which can be  expanded through the hybrid SIM slot. 

It also features  a 13mp rear camera and a 5mp front facing camera. Just  like others,  this device also runs on MIUI 8 which  is based on Android version 6 marshmallow. But unlike  the other two devices,  the redmi 4A  lacks the fingerprint  scanner. 

The device is available  In Gold and Rose Gold only is already  available  for pre-order at a starting price of $74 will be available  starting  from  the 11th of November. 

All the three devices mentioned  above all falls in the Xiaomi  mid range  devices and although  it will be launched  in  China  only, the device is expected  to be available  nationwide soon.
